MG Midget
The MG Midget was based on the Austin Healey Frogeye Sprite but with a more modern and conventional styling. The Midget provided a basic car at a cheap price but also was a lot of fun to drive. Updated over its long production life of over 30 years. Easy to maintain and run it was a very popular car out selling the Triumph Spitfire through out its long life. It had a successful competition history and was often seen as a giant killer where its light weight and simplicity came into play. Often seen as a starter classic.
