Maidstone Sports Cars (MSC) was established
in 1987 by Andrew Marsh to provide a complete Service for
Classic Sports car owners. From a simple beginning, the company
grew to its now enviable position as one of the fore-runners
and leaders in the Classic Sports car market, having established
a reputation for quality service and professionalism.
|
| |
| In 1992 MSC built a special four
wheel drive MGB as a promotional vehicle. This proved
to be so successful that it appeared at the MG Owner's
Club meeting at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, where
it was able to tackle the famous or 'infamous' tank testing
course, incidentally the only car ever to get through
the difficult terrain. |
|
|
This vehicle was subsequently featured in many motoring magazines,
a half page spread in the Daily Telegraph and four pages in the Owner's
Club magazine. The vehicle also appeared in Top Gear where it was
vigorously tested by Chris Goffey.
The next unique vehicle to come from the MSC stable was the MGB GT
RV8, also shown and driven on Top Gear, and featured in various magazines
and on the front cover of MG enthusiast and Retro magazine. All this
exposure made MSC increasingly well known with enquiries coming from
all over the world. MSC has now a regular stream of customers from
the continent. See our MG section for
